The Bloodline has had a tight grasp over the blue brand in recent years and a similar pattern emerged on the latest edition of the Friday night show. The most notorious faction in the entire roster usually gets more of the spotlight for obvious reasons. Moreover, adding the People’s Champion’s star power has put the perfect icing on the cake. That said, on the contradictory side, it got the better of other storylines’ hold in the episode.

A report suggested The Rock and Roman Reigns’ unified heroics caused Naomi to sacrifice her entrance duration to some extent.

The Rock’s status in The Bloodline came to light two weeks back on SmackDown. He took us on a trip down memory lane, donning his classic Corporate Rock gear and turning on the US crowd. His prolific promo ended with his official alignment with his Samoan cousins. Ever since then, we have had to smell what The Bloodline is cooking. And as we saw last night, for now, they are cooking a unique tag team match against the key nemesis, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, for the WrestleMania Night 1. The Rock alongside The Tribal Chief declared their intentions after trading a lot of barbs to the American Nightmare and his current ally. WWE fans witnessed the ingenious segment for over a steady 10 minutes, which is lengthier than usual. And it proved detrimental to the recently returned Naomi’s screen time.

Naomi’s entrance for her match with Tiffany Stratton had to be omitted from the broadcast. Additionally, the women’s match was originally slated to occur in two combined segments, but it ran about nine minutes, including commercial breaks.

However, all these adjustments in other storylines might recur in the coming weeks again as it seems WWE plans more nail-biting turns and twists forward.

The Bloodline storyline could record another major twist moving forward

In the future, we could expect to see a fallout or betrayal between The Rock and Roman Reigns as well. WWE dropped a slight tease of it when Roman Reigns cut The Rock in between his promo. Reigns asked Johnson to acknowledge the Chief. Peter Rosenberg saw a future betrayal in the segment and claimed the same during the latest episode of the Cheap Heat podcast.
