Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock’s Father Labeled as a “H**ny B****rd” By WWE Legend

Following a recent Sports Illustrated report, it was revealed that Dwayne Johnson is related to five people. In case you were unaware, a DNA test, released last month, disclosed that The Rock has 3 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters. And for obvious reasons, DJ’s father made several headlines and received criticism after this.

In addition, Rocky Johnson was recently the subject of a discussion on Dutch Mantell’s show Story time with Dutch Mantell. Talking about Rocky Johnson’s latest revelation, Mantell labeled him as “H**ny B****rd”.

Mantell and The Rock’s father had a very brief friendship, therefore Mantell is familiar with the Johnson family. However, Mantell felt the same shock as everyone else when the news came out.

He stated, “I never knew about the children because there would be no way that I would know unless I wanted to ask around. But then I read this article and I went damn.”

Besides being shocked by the revelation, the WWE legend called Rocky Johnson a “H**ny B****rd” due to his reputation for spending a lot of time with women. Mantell said, “He just didn’t have girlfriends he had like I mean, it lasted a while. They were never together, see. But he would meet this woman and they would be in one place and then that would be I guess, his queen in waiting.”

He added, “Then, he would go somewhere else he’d have another one, then he would go somewhere else he would have another one.”

Rocky Johnson had many relationships with women since he was a star wrestler and a terrific talker. Mantell, however, asserted that several wrestlers, besides Rocky Johnson, were also like that.

Mantell met Dwayne Johnson when he was a kid

The Rock has been immensely successful in pro wrestling, following the footsteps of his father. When speaking about Rocky Johnson on the show, Mantell recalled his first encounter with young “Dewey” (Dwayne Johnson).

Mantell stated, “Well, I was in Memphis with him. A long, long time ago and we lived at a monthly hotel, but you could pay monthly there and it was a kind of a new hotel. It was okay. And he’d live right down the hall for me. Him and his wife and little Dewey, which is rocky, which is the Rock now. He was like two years old, maybe 3 three.”

Over four decades have passed since Mantell debuted in the wrestling industry. Moreover, The Rock was one of the many teenage wrestlers he encountered while working in the business that would later become famous.
