Dwayne Johnson rightfully referred to his Samoan heritage in the 2021 Hip-Hop/Rap song Face-Off. The Anoa’i Family has proven to be a royal family in the pro wrestling industry. The members of the family have been involved with the sport for so long that the fourth-generation family member, Simone Johnson a.k.a Ava Raine is also a part of it. Well, keeping all things aside, it looks like the family could not escape the sport. Johnson recently revealed in an interview that his young daughters want him to recreate a match at home.
Dwayne Johnson’s daughters want a WWE match at home
Talking with E News this Monday, The Brahma Bull talked about how his 8 and 5-year-old daughters reacted after realizing that he has returned to the world of pro wrestling. While many kids might look away at the sight of blood or seeing someone getting beaten up inside the ring, he believes that the two are different. He said that his two princesses can’t wait to see him perform at the WrestleMania. “Their mouths are on the floor,” he said.

Talking about how different his daughters are as compared to other kids, he said, “This is an indication of their DNA: They don’t cry. They’re not like, ‘I don’t want to see this.'” The reason why Johnson believes that they are so excited to see him in the ring is because they were born after he switched to acting in movies. While he shares Raine, with his first daughter from his ex-wife and business partner, Dany Garcia, he shares his other two daughters, Jasmine and Tiana, with his current wife Lauren Hashian.
While the two want to see Johnson in action, it looks like they are not going to spare their mother in the process. The Hollywood icon said, “They’re like, ‘Can you drop an elbow on mom?'” This, he believes, is due to their excitement.
While Johnson shared his daughter’s feelings after seeing him in WWE, he also shared a fear that he has now.
The return might be a long road
In the interview, the question arose about his preparations for WrestleMania 40. While he sounded confident, he did share one concern he had. Dwayne Johnson stated that his long inactivity from in-ring action means he is taking time to get his body prepared.

He also clarified one big misconception. Johnson stated that even though he is physically fit and does all of his stunts, that doesn’t change the fact that pro wrestling has very different physical demands. “I gotta prepare in the right way. I don’t want to get my a– kicked too bad.”, he said in the interview. But WWE might be taking care of it. How do you think Johnson’s daughters will react after seeing him fight in the ring for the first time?
