When WWE hinted that they were planning on bringing back the Uncle Howdy character, no one expected it to be this long. It began as cryptic videos and a breadcrumb trail leading to the QR codes fans see today. However, the wait for Bray Wyatt’s favorite uncle has been so long that fans have started their fan theory clubs. Despite the codes almost spelling out when the WWE Universe could see the mysterious character back in action, many fans believe they have a better answer.

The newest theory to join the list comes thanks to the promotional material for the upcoming Clash at the Castle PLE. Taking place in Scotland on June 15, fans noticed something in the reflection of Drew McIntyre‘s sword, Angela. Yes, fans are either using CSI levels of zoom and enhance, or the Howdy craze is reaching its peak. This comes as no surprise, as the latest hints off the QR code suggest that June 17 will be his return date. This happens to be the first RAW episode after the PLE, which sparked the question among fans whether he’ll make a cameo at the event in Scotland.

Taking a look at the promotional poster, fans noticed something odd in McIntyre’s sword’s reflection. One user broke it down on social media. According to many enthusiasts, the reflection of Howdy’s face can be seen on the sword. Moreover, they linked it to the promotional material for Extreme Rules 2022. The user explained how a lantern could be seen in the poster, which hinted at Wyatt’s return.

While many fans who saw this post with squinted eyes debated that they did not see anything, it did plant the seed of doubt. The WWE has done an incredible job of building up the suspense to Howdy’s actual return. However, some fans feel like it’s been too long.

The WWE Universe seems to be losing interest in Uncle Howdy

One major concern the WWE Universe has put forth on social media and forums is the long wait for Howdy and the Wyatt 6’s return. Ahead of every PLE since WrestleMania XL, fans have expected to see the figure make an appearance. Predictions and theories have littered the internet regarding when and where the masked figure will appear, but to no avail yet.

Now, fans have seemingly become impatient, and many vent their frustration on social media whenever the next QR code appears.
