Heath Slater, unfortunately, could not make a big impact in the WWE. He had a few tag team title runs with Rhyno and was part of a few dominant groups, i.e. Nexus and Corre.
However, his friends Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre both won multiple titles.
Both of them won the WWE championship. However, Slater’s only singles title was the 24/7 title.

The WWE champion tells the real story behind Slater’s return to RAW
The Scottish Psychopath revealed that initially he had to convince Slater as the latter wasn’t comfortable going into his past.
”I played a big part in making it happen and to be honest. He’s ready for the next stage and he’s not sure about going backward, so I made it clear to him like ‘trust me, this isn’t going to be like anything you’ve done. We finally got him on board and got him on the show.”
He was mainly used as a comedic performer who would job to legends as well as upcoming wrestlers. Hence, it is no surprise that he wasn’t convinced to return after becoming a free agent.

Heath Slater has always been more of a comedic character. But when he got that one chance of doing a serious role, the One Man Band nailed it.
This proves Slater was never short of talent. He certainly convinced the fans about his talent on many occasions. Unfortunately, he could not convince the top management.
