Earlier tonight, Drew McIntyre confidently went into his match against Seth Rollins. WrestleMania XL was set to be the place where McIntyre would reclaim the WWE World Heavyweight title. While he did do so and accomplished his dream of being Champion again, he posted something on social media that seemed to have come back to haunt him.

After Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract and won the title off McIntyre, he took to social media to reply to his own post.

Initially, McIntyre posted, “Bored at work,” during his match against Rollins. This prompted Bad Bunny to ask him if he had a good shift after his match and losing the title to Priest. The Scottish Warrior finally took to social media to comment on his own post. McIntyre simply posted, “F##k.” McIntyre seems to be regretting what he previously said. While the match did look like an easy win for the Scottish giant, a little overconfidence made him pay the ultimate price.

McIntyre has been behind the WWE World Heavyweight Championship since Crown Jewel 2023. He even went after Cody Rhodes when he gave his spot to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson against Roman Reigns. Every action by McIntyre proved how badly he wanted to be the champion once more. He credited himself as the most hardworking champion during his reign in the pandemic.
