WWE Clash of Champions was a critically acclaimed pay-per-view. With surprise entrants and vicious attacks, both the World titleholders, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, retained their titles. After defeating the ‘Viper’ Randy Orton, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has his eyes on Roman Reigns.
After a stellar match at the PPV, McIntyre spoke to Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling(h/t Inside the Ropes). The Scottish Psychopath said WWE is in a good place right now, with a “good balance” between the titles.
“All shows have an Intercontinental Championship that takes you to the Heavyweight Championship or a United States Title that takes you to the next Championship. Obviously, women are represented with their respective titles and the Tag Titles so I think we are well stocked.”

“Roman Reigns is the guy who has proven his worth for many years and even though he has had a short period of absence, has returned with a different attitude, a new look, bigger and stronger than he ever was and he still has a talent for framing and that’s what I want to show, that I can be the Superstar that he is and it is inevitable that in the future we will have a match between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, title versus title, that would be the biggest match.”
Drew McIntyre defeated long-time rival, Randy Orton, with some help from WWE legends. On the other hand, Reigns defeated his cousin Jey Uso and became the ‘Tribal Chief.’ The two matches were truly the highlights of the PPV.
