Drawing Parallels Between Seth Rollins & DC’s “Joker”, WWE Legend Claims He Gets a “Mansonesque Joker” Vibe From the Captain America Star

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor had a riveting interaction on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw. Balor and Rollins are no strangers to each other. In fact, in 2016, Balor defeated The Architect to become the inaugural Universal Champion. While discussing the promo involving the bitter rivals, WWE legend Bully Ray gave his interesting take on Seth Rollins’ in-ring character. 

Rollins’ gimmick exudes an enthusiastic yet hysterical vibe. From his frenzied laugh to his mystical entrance, The Visionary has taken the shape of a fierce and notorious character. And Bully Ray says Seth Freakin’ Rollins reminds him of the Clown Prince of Crime, The Joker from DC meeting the notorious criminal Charles Manson.

Finn Balor got what he came looking for on RAW, as Seth Rollins accepted his challenge to a match at Money in the Bank for the World Heavyweight Championship. And Seth Rollins conspicuously got the better of Balor with his loud and deranged character. 

While speaking on the Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray stated that he saw signs of “trepidation” in Finn Balor. According to Bully Ray, Seth Rollins’ character is a combination of Charles Manson and The Joker from DC.

He said, “I think the beauty of Seth’s character right now is, nobody knows what it is. So, if somebody were to say to Seth Rollins like, ‘who are you?’ Seth could be like, ‘What do you mean who am I?’ ‘Don’t you get it?’ ‘Everybody knows who I am’. ‘You’re the only one not in on it’. There’s no rhyme or reason to what or who Seth is right now. It’s very out there. It’s very… the Joker meets Charles(Manson).

While everybody knows who the Joker is, you may not know much about Charles Manson. He was the leader of The Manson Family, a cult that committed a series of crimes during the late 60s.

Furthermore, Bully Ray stated that he gets a “Mansonesque joker” vibe from The World Heavyweight Champion. He added, “I get like a Manson-esque joker feel from him”

With Money in the Bank fast approaching, Seth Rollins is gearing up for his title defense against Finn Balor. However, Rollins is going to have to go through NXT’s Bron Breakker to get to Balor.

The Visionary will defend his World Heavyweight Championship next week on NXT

A week ago, NXT star, Bron Breakker, flew off the handle and randomly called out WWE’s “workhorse Champion” Seth Rollins. Breakker vowed to hold everybody accountable including the powers that be. Surprisingly, Breakker got what he asked for, as Seth Rollins made a special TV appearance on NXT. 

During the promo, Seth Rollins was reminiscent of his days from NXT. Seeing a younger Rollins’ in a brash Bron Breakker, Rollins accepted his challenge.

This also led to NXT introducing a two-week special Gold Rush program. So, the match is official, next week on NXT, Seth Rollins will put the gold on the line against the 25-year-old, Bron Breakker.
