Grayson Waller has made it his goal to feud with WWE legends lately. The Australian wrestler recently got under John Cena’s skin and attacked him at Money in the Bank. However, karma had other plans for him that fated night as he received an Attitude Adjustment in the O2 Arena.
He then made his debut in Madison Square Garden against Edge on SmackDown, and to everybody’s surprise, Waller “swam”, despite losing the match. After earning respect from the WWE Hall of Famer, Grayson Waller directed his aim at The WWE icon-turned-Hollywood mogul, Dwayne Johnson.

The exchange of barbs between Waller and The Rock started when the former poked fun at Johnson’s WWE debut outfit. While Johnson responded by calling him an “Outback Jackoff,” it was not enough to silence Waller. In response to the Hollywood actor, Waller invited him to his show, The Grayson Waller Effect, hinting at a potential feud.
On the latest edition of SmackDown, Waller called out The Great One once again during his interview with Cathy Kelley, claiming that Johnson is in desperate need of the Grayson Waller Rub. He said, “Every single week his family (The Bloodline) is imploding…but he’s worried about ME.”
Waller then took another shot at Johnson by posting a gif from The Attitude Era in which Chris Jericho shoved his hand in The Rock’s face before doing the “just bring it” gesture.

In case you’ve forgotten, Chris Jericho and The Rock were involved in one of the most entertaining and heated segments in the Attitude Era. But Waller must have forgotten the aftermath. The Rock delivered with a thunderous Rock Bottom after Jericho shoved his hand in the face of The People’s Champ.
However, it remains to be seen whether Dwayne Johnson chooses to respond to Waller. Rumors of Johnson’s appearance at WrestleMania 39 didn’t pan out. It has been several years since his last appearance.
When was Dwayne Johnson’s last WWE appearance?
A Dwayne Johnson return always receives one of the loudest pops from the fans in WWE. The Brahma Bull last made an appearance in WWE in 2019.

He worked a segment with The Man, Becky Lynch, humiliating then-King of The Ring winner, Baron Corbin. That marked The Rock’s last appearance in WWE. Johnson is one of the busiest people on the planet. He plays a hands-on part in his entrepreneurial ventures besides his taxing Hollywood projects.
That said, Grayson Waller may have delusions of grandeur, expecting The Rock to show up at his talk show. But if Johnson returns, it would be interesting to see him lay the SmackDown on Grayson Waller.
