In the song Wick Man, he made a reference to WWE legend John Cena to show his emotions. John Cena’s name is mentioned in the second line of the second verse. The line reads as follows, “I’m almost expressionless, John Cena wouldn’t know emotions I wrestlе with.

In the subsequent stanza, the artist delves into the challenges of grappling with emotions and striving for perfection. The mention of John Cena and the metaphor of wrestling with emotions implies a struggle to convey genuine feelings. Particularly, the reference is towards Cena’s catchphrase of “You can’t see me“.

Cena was from the legendary batch of OVW 2002 that consisted of Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Batista. To stand out, he had to do something different, and boy did he deliver. Before he became the guy Vince McMahon for the Ruthless Aggression Era and the PG Era, he was a struggler who failed to stand his ground after his rookie year.

However, advice from Stephanie McMahon gave birth to Doctor of Thuganomics, a career-changing move. Cena gained popularity but had to drop it immediately due to another major change in character and gimmick.
