If he indeed seizes the opportunity at MITB this week in London, he will be one win away from becoming world champion, which was almost unthinkable last year when he was severely struggling with Max Dupri’s character.
Since Vince McMahon returned to the fold, Knight has been in a more favorable spot than ever on the roster, backed up by huge fans’ support. Now, it seems like amid the massive hype regarding his ability to climb the ladder surpassing six men, fans get another exciting reason to celebrate.

Amid the hot flush of stimulation around him, the 40-year-old SmackDown star recently sat for an in-depth interview with Chris Van Vliet to discuss a wide range of topics regarding his career. In one part of that interview, the host asked about getting his own WWE T-shirt.
The star promptly replied, ‘Well, actually in the works. I think they came up with one, and it should be coming out in the next week or two if I’m not mistaken.”
While currently, nothing seems off the table for WWE’s newest breakout star, there was a time when he almost got fired from the company. yes, you heard it right.

You may believe it or not, Knight didn’t get his flowers easily, rather he snatched it with his fantastic mic skill and magnetic charisma. Ahead of arguably the most deciding match of his entire career, LA Knight looked back at the time when he was on the verge of getting fired.

During the same interview with Chris Van Vliet, Knight articulated how it felt to be on the chopper block after his main roster transition last year. ”I don’t remember what it was, but some things happened. And then I had gotten a FaceTime. ‘Hey, you know, we want to keep you around. We want to do this, this, that whatever.’ And, okay, cool. Good. So somehow I had been saved from being thrown off the cliff.”, Knight recalled standing in the forefront of his sky-high journey to rise to the pinnacle of success.
With tons of eyes on him right now, the former Eli Drake has his focus on the prize that London might bring him this week. Destiny will decide the rest for him.
