One of the biggest disappointments of the last year was the Dwayne Johnson starrer, Black Adam. In production for nearly 5 years, the superhero movie was one that was near and dear to The Rock as well. While people appreciated Johnson’s work in it, the movie wasn’t a box office success.

But still, James Gunn, Peter Safran, and other people helped recover the charm of the movie and get audiences ready for the release. But it looks like their efforts amounted to a very minimal boost as the movie’s opening box office numbers are here. 

Expected to amass somewhere around $54-56 million dollars worldwide, it will make $10 million less than Black Adam’s opening box office weekend, which was considered a flop opening as well.
