Nia Jax’s return to WWE was certainly noteworthy, reviving her career. After her dismissal in 2021, she made her return last year, taking part in the most important matches and storylines in the women’s category. Since her return to the Stamford-based federation in 2023, Nia Jax has had ample television space. Facing the likes of Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan while also winning the Queen of the Ring, managing to get a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2024 thanks to winning the Queen of the Ring Tournament. Thus allowing her to reach new heights she had never explored before.
In addition to winning the accolade, the Irresistible Force has been feuding with Michin, including the alliance between Jax and Tiffany Stratton, who also won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. One detail that has been most prominent in the character of Nia Jax is her improvements on the microphone, resulting in a much more confident appearance. With top-tier feuds and a much-improved version of herself, fans want more of her to appear and be a part of WWE events. But it seems like she is appearing less on non-televised shows as well as live events revealed by the WWE Universal champion.

In the latest edition of the Insight podcast, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes joined Chris Van Vliet in Toronto to discuss multiple topics, such as his championship win, comparison to Homelander, his feud with The Rock, and much other interesting stuff. One of them was when he talked about the cousin of the Rock, Nia Jax. He complained that, despite her improvements, Jax has been missing a lot of live events. Something that needs to be fixed. He said, “So like Nia Jax is pretty good about when she’s on the live events, and she’s been skipping some live events lately, which I don’t like at all. And Road Dogg needs to put her on the live events.”

Well, at the Queen of the Ring tournament, Jax eliminated Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair in the playoffs prior to the grand finale of the tournament, where she beat former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. So it truly shows that the WWE has trust in her talents. Live shows are a great way to hone your skills, and the more Jax appears, the better she’ll become. One must not forget that she was once considered as unsafe as Vader when in the ring. So she truly needs to prove her critics wrong rather than getting more ring rust. Especially when the management, as well as legends like Booker T, have faith in you.

On the Hall of Fame podcast, former King of the Ring Booker T said that it was about time Jax had her moment to shine in WWE. He said, “I think it’s only fitting to actually finally pull the trigger on Nia Jax. I think this will give Nia Jax a chance to sink her teeth into something different… It puts a spotlight on Nia Jax on a weekly basis.” The WWE Hall of Famer believes that the TV time Jax is about to receive is “worth its weight in gold.” Booker said he enjoyed discovering his ability to create a new character as King Booker, which saw him debut with a new accent and a hulking ego. The WWE legend hopes Jax will have a similar opportunity to expand her character.
It is not the first time that Booker T has shown his favorable opinion of Nia Jax. In October 2023, he said that she would be practically an unbeatable champion. Nia Jax will challenge the WWE Women’s World Champion at SummerSlam, an event that will take place on Saturday, August 3, at Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. What do you think?
