Could Braun Strowman's injury spell the end of his WWE career? What do you think?

Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed starred in one of the most intense matches tonight on Monday Night Raw. The two heavyweight fighters faced each other in a match that broke all boundaries and culminated in a street fight in the parking lot of the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island.

Both wrestlers deployed all the tools they could from their surroundings to gain the upper-hand. After Strowman hit Reed with a suicide dive, the latter tried to abandon the match. However, Strowman attacked him in the entryway, sending him through a screen. Taking the fight backstage, Reed then threw a trash can at the two-time Raw Tag Team Champion as the two headed to the parking area. The Monster among Men tried to neutralize his opponent by applying the chokeslam on the hood of a car.

Later, Reed knocked out Strowman on top of that same care—and threw himself on his rival with the Tsunami—leaving him with a possible injury in real life as per wrestler and promoter Tommy Dreamer.

In the latest edition of the Busted Open Podcast, Dreamer revealed how during a spot he was worried for the former strongman: “You’re diving onto a person and or concrete. And when you’re the, the faster you’re running it, that’s physics, right? Speed, weight, height. And then you’re hitting Braun. Braun Strowman is standing there waiting to get hit, which is a thing, you know, it’s coming and you just be like, ‘Oof, man, I hope you don’t kill me’. Um, here he comes, he delivers. If you see the force, Braun went flying and almost hit his head on the guardrail. I was worried for Braun.”

Notably, reports state that Strowman is unable to move his fingers since the fight. It’s yet unclear whether the wrestler will be out of action. But if so, this will be the second time in two years. Just last year, the 40-year-old had sustained a severe neck injury “that compromised his neck column”. As per the NJ Spine and Orthopedic website, “The injury occurred when Strowman was wrongfully struck, causing his head to snap back and momentarily paralyze his arms due to the severe spinal stenosis between his C4 and C5 vertebrae.”
