The wrestler-turned-actor had plans to run for the President of the United States. A consumer research poll by Piplsay showed that around 46% of Americans would support Dwayne Johnson running for the Presidential candidacy. That very poll had him ranked higher than Matthew McConaughey, Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey, and Tom Hanks.
However, radio host and a former friend of Donald Trump, Howard Stern, did not belong in that 46%. Stern had a very opposing opinion, and stated via NYdaily News, “You know what it is with these guys is that they don’t understand, once you run for office, you actually have to give an opinion.”

Stern stated how The Rock is the most non-controversial figure ever, and how everyone likes him. He claimed that the military people think The Rock is a part of them and the police think the same. He further claimed that Joe Biden supporters think he is a part of their group, while Trump supporters think the same.

The radio show host dissed both Dwayne Johnson and Matthew McConaughey for running for President. He stated that once The Rock had to speak on abortion rights or the Interstellar actor had to speak on gun violence, people would suddenly turn against them.

He stated that he would not be running for the position. Instead, he likes to spend some time with his family and children. However, he was asked the same question by CNN’s Jake Tapper. The Rock said, “In terms of presidency, I gotta tell you, Jake. It all I think is the convergence of things that are surreal and inspiring.” Although he has not ruled himself out of the competition, his plans to run for the position seem doubtful.
