2013 WWE Hall of Fame inductee Donald Trump is currently in the news after the FBI searched the Mar-a-Lago. Ever since that news broke out, Trump is now under a lot of speculation. He is also widely known for his extravagant lifestyle. Trump is also infamous for objectifying women frequently.

Donald Trump also has a special affinity toward wrestling and WWE. Former MMA star and current WWE superstar Ronda Rousey was once very vocal against the idea of Trump winning the US Presidential election. Rousey is the former Smackdown Women’s champion but is currently facing a suspension. Recently, she was heavily trending after being arrested on live television during a Smackdown event in Canada.

A video from 2015 resurfaced before Trump’s Presidential election. In the video, Trump was asked if he would like women in the military. To which he replied, “I will tell you what, I know some women that are just, Ronda Rousey is an example who likes me said ‘Hey I take her up my side as a fighter.'” To this interview said in a surprised tone, “Lucky for you!”.

However, during an earlier interview with CNN, Ronda Rousey was heard said saying something else towards the former President. She said, “I wouldn’t vote for him. I just really wouldn’t trust that guy with running my country. That’s all.”

She further stated, “I mean, I’m not really gonna get into specifics of it, but I mean, I don’t want a reality TV star running my country.” Rousey’s statement did not age well and Trump was elected the President of the United States of America in 2017.

An independent wrestler arrested Ronda Rousey on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown

The latest episode of SmackDown saw Ronda Rousey storming into the arena and demanding the waiving off her suspension because she had paid off her fines. However, Adam Pearce took none of it and had her arrested.

One of the police officers who arrested Rousey was identified as a Canadian wrestler. The female officer was identified as K.C. Spinelli, a 37-year-old wrestler. She currently performs on the indie circuit and had a brief stint with Impact Wrestling as well.

The whole segment received wide praises from WWE fans and a loud pop from the Montreal crowd. Although Rousey portrayed a heel character, she still received immense cheers from the crowd. Reminds anyone of the 2018 Becky Lynch heel turn?
