There is no secret that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and the former USA President, Donald Trump, have a great friendship. We have seen both of them helping each other as they share a family-type bonding between themselves.

Donald Trump has appeared on WWE TV several times. In the late 80s, he assisted Mr. McMahon to host WrestleMania smoothly by providing his arenas for the grandest stage.

However, in one of the RAW episodes in 2009, Vince McMahon made an announcement on the show regarding the red brand purchased by Donald Trump. Trump later appeared on the titantron to confirm the deal.

Trump said, ‘Thanks Vince, You’ve finally put your ego aside and made a smart business move for a change. It’s true, Donald Trump, I’m now the sole owner of Monday Night RAW. You never really show any appreciation for the RAW audience.

He added, “I’m going to do stuff that’s never been done before never been seen before. People have been watching Raw for 17 years and they deserve something special. You’ve made a lot of money off these people. It’s about time you give back. Like our president says, ‘Give back.”

As the new owner of Monday Night RAW, Donald Trump announced a commercial-free show for the following week. Also, the former US President appeared on the show to confront Vince McMahon over their major deal.

This storyline created anxiety among the shareholders as the stock price of WWE increased. The shareholders thought this was for real and that Donald Trump has purchased RAW and is going to run it independently.

This storyline ended when the following week Vince McMahon kayfabe purchased RAW from Donald Trump at a high price. This was the second encounter of Trump with McMahon after their infamous Battle of Billionaires at WrestleMania 23 in 2007.

How much did Donald Trump earn for shaving Vince McMahon’s head at WWE WrestleMania 23?

In WrestleMania 23, there was the Battle of Billionaires match between Bobby Lashley w/Donald Trump and Umaga w/Vince McMahon. WWE had hyped the match among the fans, as the stipulation was Hair vs Hair. 

Bobby Lashley won the match, and eventually, Donald Trump won the feud. As per the stipulation, Trump shaved the head of Mr.McMahon in the middle of the ring. As per Bleacher Report, Trump earned a whopping $4 million dollars in all the appearances leading up to this feud to WrestleMania. All the money which Trump earned went to charity in the “Donald J. Trump Foundation.”

The money Trump minted in his all WWE appearances directly went to his charity, which is a good thing. Since Mr. McMahon and Donald Trump are friends, The Chairman might not have hesitated to pay him this amount as it went for a good cause.
