Dominik Mysterio’s Social Media Popularity Overshadows Weekly Boos, Ahead of Major Title Match Announcement on NXT

Dominik Mysterio has emerged as one of the most hated men in WWE. The young 26-year-old star who’s a part of Judgement Day evokes the biggest jeers in every arena he goes to. While he is definitely talented in the ring, fans can’t help but hate his persona on WWE.

However, despite his antics, he might have emerged as a fan favorite on social media for his upcoming triple threat match at the Great American Bash on July 30th. 

Dominik Mysterio becomes a conniving champion

After ‌defeating Wes Lee to capture the NXT North American Championship, Mysterio Jr. has been unstoppable. While the victory came with an assist from current women’s champion Rhea Ripley, he’s still competed at the highest level on all three major shows.

Now, in the latest edition of NXT, Dom boldly accepted to defend his title in a triple threat match against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali. 

His character has developed so much that he even caused an argument and a brawl between the two challengers while Dom and Ripley laughed in the background.

With the triple threat match set in place, fans couldn’t help but acknowledge the official confirmation of the matchup.

And in the most bizarre feat, it was the current champion who became the odds-on fan favorite for his match on social media.

While the sudden shift of the fan momentum is surprising, one can’t deny the incredible heel work Mysterio Jr. has put in every week.

Dominik Mysterio’s social media popularity is booming rapidly despite the boos he receives on weekly shows. 

After successful title defenses against Butch and Sami Zayn, Dominik would look to extend his reign by successfully defending against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali this Sunday at the Great American Bash.
