Rhea Ripley‘s absence has given birth to a new storyline where Liv Morgan is trying her best to win over the former WWE Women’s Champion’s on-screen boyfriend. Dominik Mysterio has resisted her advances so far, being loyal to his on-screen love interest. However, some attention to detail shows us that the male wrestler had his eyes on Morgan all along.

Even though the story between them has officially taken a turn just recently, Dominik Mysterio seems to have kept an eye out for Mami’s rival from months ago. Even a month before Royal Rumble 2024, Mysterio was disloyal to Ripley.

Liv Morgan had Dominik in a mysterious hold

A page on Instagram uploads pictures of women looking good in their mugshots. In December, the parody account uploaded a picture of Morgan’s mugshot from her arrest for possession of banned substances. Dominik Mysterio was caught liking the post from all the way back in December 2023. Since the wrestler himself has been arrested in kayfabe, it would make sense that he idolized a partner in Liv Morgan despite being committed to The Eradicator on the main roster. But now things have turned completely around for the two of them.

Now, Dominik Mysterio appears to be resisting this change of partners. However, there’s a possibility that, deep down, he is thinking of joining forces with the WWE Women’s champion. This is what one of the industry insiders also predicted about their storyline and how it’s going to go down between Ripley when she returns to the promotion. Nevertheless, her comeback efforts may prove futile after Morgan’s efforts to claw her way into the heart of Dom Dom.

Liv Morgan could win over Mysterio

As per the hints that we have recovered so far, it seems like Liv Morgan already has a hold over Dirty Dom’s heart. However, the wrestler seems to be playing hard to get. In a recent episode of the Busted Open podcast, Dave LaGreca and Bully Ray talked about how Dom Dom is eventually going to cave in even if the resistance he is showing is not pretentious.

They believe so because Rhea Ripley was not physically affectionate with him on camera and in public. On the contrary, Liv Morgan is giving him everything that he may have wanted from Mami. This could turn the tide for Morgan and when her rival finally returns, she will find that her boyfriend is no longer hers.
