Dominik Mysterio, the son of wrestling icon Rey Mysterio, is making quite a name for himself in the WWE. Thanks to his role in the Judgment Day stable and on-screen chemistry with Rhea Ripley, he is an established name in the promotion. As the NXT North American Champion, he’s also faced his fair share of foes. However, his recent interaction with Cody Rhodes left him humiliated and unhappy with the WWE.

Days after the interaction, he broke his silence and posted a response to what had happened on Monday Night RAW. ‘Dirty Dom’ is not happy about what went down and how it made him look.

This week’s episode of RAW was quite entertaining, with an epic six-man tag team match between the Alpha Academy and the Imperium. However, the moment going viral online is Rhodes cleaning house while in a suit. Typically, wrestlers require their freedom of movement, but Rhodes makes it look so easy. 

After having no segment in the week before’s episode of RAW, Rhodes came out with a bang. Wearing a grey suit, he started addressing the fans about Jey Uso. But Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh came out before he could go any further. Dominik started with how Jey would eventually join the Judgment Day and then proceeded to toy with Rhodes’s tie. Needless to say, Dirty Dom learned the hard way not to mess with a man’s tie.

After a flurry of punches, Rhodes tossed McDonagh out of the ring and followed it with a very smooth Cody Cutter off the second rope to Dominik. Seeing Rhodes perform effortlessly in a suit impressed fans. This was evident in how clips of the segment went viral on social media. WWE posted a clip of the segment with the caption, “Didn’t even break a sweat.”

Despite Rhodes putting him in his place, Dom took to Instagram to post a reaction to the viral video. He was unhappy with how much the WWE promoted it and expressed his disappointment. He shared WWE’s clip on his Instagram story and added the side eye emoji, calling out WWE for praising Rhodes for something he felt was unimpressive. 

Rhodes is stuck in limbo post SummerSlam

Rhodes has been on a roll since he returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 38 after six years and beat Seth Rollins. With a massive push from the WWE and undying love from the fans, Rhodes established himself as an established name in the company during his second run. However, he’s been stuck in limbo after his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. The most recent noteworthy moment was at Payback, where he showed up for the Grayson Waller Effect. 

Fans have been eagerly waiting for his revenge storyline with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline. Amidst the Civil War between the group members, fans hope that Rhodes gets a shot at dethroning Reigns. For now, these run-ins with members of The Judgment Day are hinting at a feud with Dominik. The future is still bright for The American Nightmare, and we’re excited to see who he will face next.
