Dominik Mysterio has established himself as one of the main roster’s top superstars. Since making his debut at SummerSlam in 2020, he has made a name for himself among the wrestlers on the Raw and SmackDown roster. And that too without previously going through NXT. However, sometime later, he did engage in some business in the Black & Gold brand. He even became the NXT North American Champion on two occasions.

All in all, now that he has spent time in the three brands, Dirty Dom is already on his path to becoming a veteran of the sport. And like every good veteran, he too has become a mentor to young superstars. One of which turned out to be Zilla Fatu.

Zilla Fatu is the son of the legendary late great Umaga. Currently, an indie superstar, Zilla Fatu, is not planning to be a part of the WWE roster and join the Bloodline. Nevertheless, he plans to hone his skills further and then join his Anoa’i family in the Stamford-based promotion. In fact, he already has two mentors out there, as he revealed in a recent interview with Zoey Franchize. He said, “Carlito is one of the main mentors that I tap in with every day. Dom you feel me. That’s my, even though that’s my brother. He’s really a mentor too. That’s Rey Mysterio’s son.”

Dominik Mysterio appeared on Monday Night RAW with an arm in a sling in what was an actual injury. A few hours ago, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Mysterio would undergo a “Tommy John operation” that would keep him away from the ring for a few considerable months.

However, shortly after, Dominik Mysterio himself responded to this report on his X account stating that, fortunately, he would not have to go under the knife. According to a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dominik Mysterio is expected to return to action in six to eight weeks. However, Mysterio continues to appear on every Monday Night RAW show so far and is expected to continue to do so despite this injury. He already has a potential opponent earmarked for him when returns. What do you make of Zilla Fatu’s revelations about his mentors? Let us know in the comments section below.
