Is WWE running out of ideas by recycling Attitude Era storylines with Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley?

Rhea Ripley has recovered from her injury, and she is looking very well right now. MAMI addressed all the things that occurred while she was gone, and as she was doing so, Dominik Mysterio appeared, bearing a black rose. This was for MAMI, but she did not take his rose and threw it away at the end of the segment. This shows how much anger she has in her as of right now for Mysterio.

Fans appreciated this section, and several of them even pointed out that it was influenced by the Attitude Era. Something similar happened when Eddie Gurrero was dating Chayna on screen and gave her roses when she was upset with him for some apparent reason. WWE appears to have tried to recreate the situation on tonight’s Raw, and it seems that it worked pretty well.

The segment looked fantastic, and it also established Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan’s feud for the future. Ripley will officially challenge Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at the biggest party of the summer, Summerslam. MAMI is finally ready, and she plans to ruin Liv Morgan’s career now after she has returned.

Why does his section with Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley make this version stand out?

Remakes of past segments are usually special since they remind fans of the good old days. This was one of the WWE’s remakes, but it appears that this one was especially exceptional. The reason for this is because of Dominik Mysterio’s past with Eddie Gurrero. Both of them were involved in a major event in the past, and it appears that the tale may provide the backdrop for this segment.

In reality, Rhea Ripley and Chayna share a lot of similarities in that they are both very powerful in the ring and do not fear anyone. Furthermore, both ladies were prepared to face any guy one-on-one, demonstrating their dominance. WWE made a great sneaky move by making this segment and the positive part is that the fans loved it which means more such segments can be made in the future too.
