A very important weekend for pro wrestling just ended. One, in the space of a few hours, witnessed both WWE King and Queen of the Ring and AEW Double or Nothing. Throughout these two events, three title changes ensued. One in WWE and two in AEW. This surely thrilled the Saudi Arabian crowd and the Las Vegas crowd, respectively.
After the last PPV of All Elite Wrestling, it was time for a new weekly TV schedule that kicked off with Monday Night RAW. But little did anyone know that this edition of the red brand might end up making more news than WWE’s latest PPV. All thanks to a kiss between Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio that many might’ve missed. And it isn’t your fault. It seems like the WWE wanted American fans to miss the segment. But why?
At King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia over the weekend, the Miracle Girl snatched the title from The Man by taking advantage of interference from “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. ‘Dom-Dom’ had intervened to prevent Morgan from winning, but instead, caused the exact opposite. And in the latest edition of RAW, the Judgment Day again ended up helping Morgan win. Braun Strowman accidentally closed the cage door against Becky Lynch while chasing the Judgment Day.

Taking advantage of the situation, Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to reconfirm herself as the women’s champion. At the end of the show, Morgan shocked the audience by deciding to kiss Dominik Mysterio as a form of “thanks” for his unintentional help during both instances.
However, the kiss apparently did not air in the USA. as it happened once RAW went off air. But some international audiences could still watch it. So was it a mistake by the WWE?

Well, according to Bully Ray, it wasn’t. In the latest edition of the Busted Open Podcast, Ray revealed that all this must’ve been intentional by the WWE. He said, “The kiss being missed I believe was by design. Because, would you say anything happened on Monday Night RAW last night that was more important than Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio kissing? Do you believe that anything happened on the show last night in that three-hour RAW that was more important than that kiss? So are you telling me, am I to believe that the machine that is the WWE missed the most important moment of a three-hour Monday Night RAW by mistake? Ehh Ehh (Imitates buzzing sound).” He further stated that the reason it was shown to the international audience was to create more buzz around the unexpected moment.

Mysterio, too, expressed his shock at the events that transpired. He took to X to give his point of view on what happened on the red brand. He tweeted a simple (but effective) reply: “Oh f**k.” As we all know now, ‘Mami’ Rhea Ripley will surely not be amused by the recent happenings. First Morgan stole her title after injuring Ripley, and now she’s going after her ‘Dom-Dom’. WWE fans surely cannot wait to see what reaction the former WWE Women’s champion shares once she returns. What do you think? Was it intentional by the WWE to make the kissing spot off-air? Let us know in the comments.
