Dominik Mysterio Hilariously Reacts to Being Barred From Ringside During Rhea Ripley’s Title Defence at RAW Next Week

This weekend on WWE Payback, we saw Raquel Rodriguez go against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Things were in Rodriguez’s favor until Dominik Mysterio interfered in the match. This cost her the title, as Ripley secured the win to retain her title. However, after the match, she made it clear that she would resume her pursuit of Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Now they are set to face off again on the coming episode of RAW. WWE’s Adam Pierce has stated that Dominik Mysterio is banned from the ringside. The NXT North America champion issued a hilarious response to this announcement.

Dominik Mysterio’s response to WWE’s proclamation

On the WWE RAW episode which was broadcast on September 4th, Rodriguez was seen meeting with Adam Pierce backstage. The nature of this conversation was not revealed until her single’s match against Chelsea Green. After the match, Rodriguez made it official that she would be going against Rhea Ripley once again for the championship title. This time, to level the playing field, Pearce had officially ordered that Dirty Dom would be prohibited from entering the ringside during the match.

WWE took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the rematch between Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley for the title. In this poster, along with the names of the contenders, they made an announcement highlighting a special clause. It said “ DIRTY DOMINIK MYSTERIO IS BANNED FROM RINGSIDE”

Mysterio was present at the Payback event standing at Ripley’s corner along the ring side. This made it easy for him to interfere in the match. However, this time, WWE wanted to ensure no repeat shenanigans. After they made this announcement on X, Mysterio took to the same platform to show his frustration in a hilarious way. He quoted a gif along with the post by WWE saying, “Man this is some bul***t”, openly telling WWE that according to him this announcement is not fair.

Fans know that Mysterio and Ripley are a tag team at WWE and that he will be there. But for the sake of fairness, WWE had to take this step. With this announcement, fans are wondering whether Rhea Ripley could end up losing her title.

With Mysterio being barred, a lot could happen for Ripley at her title defense match. Last time, Rodriguez proved to be a formidable foe for Ripley. However, luck was not in her favor. This time, with Mysterio not being around, she could win the title fair and square. She has had a long run at WWE under the NXT and RAW brand and she deserves her share of the spotlight. With this title win, she can redeem herself and maybe make her way to the main roaster.

However, fans should not forget the fact that Rhea Ripley is an influential person at WWE. Even though Mysterio was not there to help her this time, someone else could join her. Other members of The Judgment Day faction, such as Finn Balor or Damian Priest, could make an appearance to help her. However, an unexpected star could show up too. The 33-year-old star JD McDonagh could also come out to help Ripley out. Rumors have suggested that McDonagh could join the faction.
