Dominik Mysterio has been enjoying a career resurgence ever since he turned heel and joined Judgement Day. He has been a part of entertaining segments on RAW and has added a new edge to his previously bland character. After his failed attempt to crash his father’s Christmas and subsequent “arrest”, Dominik is even using his kayfabe time in prison as part of his on-screen character.

A few weeks ago on RAW, he talked about how he was a changed man due to his experience in prison and wore a bandana to highlight his new tough persona. This week on the show, he continued to do excellent character work and even came up with a new nickname for himself.

Dominik Mysterio came up with a brand new look after his brief tenure storyline tenure in prison. He was “arrested” after he tried to repeat his Thanksgiving actions on Christmas showing up at Rey Mysterio’s house. Since then, the young star has projected a new tough image of himself.

He appeared on the Miz TV last week with a new look and talked about his time behind the bars. Not only this, he was even referred to as the ‘World’s Most Dangerous Man’ but has now conferred a nickname to himself.

This week on RAW Finn Balor and Damien Priest took on Alpha Academy in a tag team match. But Balor had to pull out of the match due to an injury, which allowed Dominik to fill in. The 25-year-old star helped his team to win the match before their big tag team title match next week. After the match, Byron Saxton interviewed him backstage and Dominik gave himself a new nickname during the segment. He said, “Ex-con Dom got it for The Judgment Day, and that’s all I got to say.”

Dominik will also have a chance to win some gold when he teams up with fellow Judgement Day member, Damien Priest, next week to take on The Usos for the tag team titles. If Dominik succeeds in winning gold, it would be a true coming into his own moment for the son of the legendary Rey Mysterio.
