Donald Trump is one of the most recognizable figures in American history. Long after his presidential run, people still continue to talk about him as he makes his presence known through news headlines. But WWE fans have seen another form of Trump before. For us, he is not just a former President but also an entertainer. The former President entertained the WWE audience when he put his hair on the line at WrestleMania 20. But that was only possible because of his close relationship with his long-time friend, Vince McMahon. But what do other wrestlers in the WWE think about Trump?
Current WWE star reveals the WWE locker room’s political alignment with Donald Trump
On the Keeping it 100 podcast, Dominik was answering all the questions of the hosts, Konnan and Disco. But he fumbled a little when they asked him about American politics in the WWE locker room. He said, “The only time that I saw it was during election times when people would talk about elections coming up. But other than that, I don’t feel like it’s a topic of discussion in the locker room or even around the company.”

Then the two asked him how much percentage of the people support Donald Trump. While he hesitated, they gave him the option to say a ratio and then Mysterio said, “would have to go 50/50.” But that wasn’t all. He later admitted that “It’s hard for me to even say it because I’m not involved in it. If you come talk to me about politics, I’m gonna turn the other way because I don’t know enough to hold up a conversation about it.”

This isn’t surprising given the fact that many wrestlers have come out with their political beliefs. While some were aggressive with their political beliefs in tweets, others were calm in interviews.
Donald Trump’s connection with WWE over the years
Over the years, we have come to know that Trump and Vince McMahon are really good friends. Trump help McMahon during WrestleMania 4 and 5 by renting his Trump Plaza for the event. He also appeared in the ring for the Battle of the Billionaires. While accepting his WWE Hall of Famer ring, Trump mentioned that McMahon was also a guy that he regularly has a good time with.
