Raquel Rodriguez left Rhea Ripley humiliated during the August 28 episode of RAW. It started well for Ripley, who is set to lock horns against Rodriguez at WWE Payback. She cut a shearing promo, making fun of the Texan pro wrestler while Dominik Mysterio added spice with his hilarious miming. Having had enough of Ripley’s verbal attacks, the 32-year-old walked out and laid waste to the current Women’s World Champion. That is all the crowd and the WWE Universe witnessed, Ripley and Mysterio retracting after being assaulted. But Mami claims there was more to it.

Backstage, Dom Mysterio indulged in revengeful behavior, which was allegedly missed by the camera. But Ripley has captured the moment of Dom Dom choking Rodriquez…well sort of… and shared it on social media, while rejoicing it.

Dominik Mysterio’s move earns praise from Rhea Ripley

After getting attacked initially by Rodriguez, Ripley left the ring, while Dominik Mysterio remained stranded. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, too, was inside the squared circle and slowly took steps towards Dom, who was on his knees, praying for mercy. This sight wasn’t unusual for the WWE Universe. They are used to seeing Dominik Mysterio being safeguarded by his Mami. With her taken out early, it left Rey Mysterio’s disgruntled son exposed.

But what was uncommon was Dominik putting a choke hold on Raquel Rodriguez. Don’t be surprised, it was just a cutout of the female superstar. Notwithstanding the circumstances, Ripley was happy with the efforts.

Posting the picture, she tweeted, “What they didn’t show you on RAW. @DomMysterio35 got the big B***h in a choke hold 🔥😈.”

It must have felt nice for both The Judgment Day members to finally give it back to Rodriguez. But if only it was for real! Meanwhile, a recent development in the 32-year-old wrestler’s life could come as an unexpected aid for the Australian.

Raquel Rodriguez has had the better of Rhea Ripley for a few weeks now. Her repeated attacks on the August 7 and 28 episodes of RAW have left Mami red in the face. And with a surge in momentum, Rodriguez has been able to build a case for herself as the next Women’s World Champion.

But Ripley could use one of Rodriguez’s recent setbacks to her advantage. According to reports, Raquel Rodriguez’s relationship with fellow superstar Braun Strowman might have ended. This parting is likely to hurt Ripley’s opponent mentally, which can be exploited by Mami.

Ripley is no stranger to using unfair means to win matches and also help members of her stable emerge victorious. So, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she decided to resort to a personal attack to give herself an advantage mentally.

However, heartbreaks have also spurred people to achieve results. Who knows, maybe Rodriguez will be able to channel her anger to humble Ripley and take the belt off her.
