In a shell-shocking segment, the sensational couple shared a kiss before Mysterio helped Morgan retain the title against Mami. It was not the first time Dom Dom had Morgan’s back, but it was the first time he did it intentionally, signifying the end of the iconic Rhea Ripley-Dominik Mysterio era.

The new on-screen romance was on full display on Monday Night Raw last week and WWE legend Dolph Ziggler couldn’t help seeing a reflection of his widely highlighted kayfabe romance with Vickie Guerrero.

And then I watched a very similar thing happen with Dominik and Liv last night and I go, Oh, this is beautiful. I love that.”

WWE has crafted a host of romantic angles in their regular storylines. The combination of the sweet and spicy elements in the couple’s on-screen chemistry delighted and captivated the fans. With Ziggler and Vickie, it involved a huge career upgrade for the former. Since 2010, the brief and impactful on-screen romantic voyage of a promising fighter and the eminent wrestling manager started to make headlines.

The push from Guerrero gave Ziggler career-breaking tenure, including winning the world heavyweight title, US title, MITB briefcase, and so on. However, apart from the professional success, the couple raised the temperature of the division, sharing some suggestive moments on screen, just like Morgan and Mysterio did.

From Mysterio having her back repeatedly in the crucial matches to the couple not backing off from showing affection toward each other randomly, the detailing propelled people to think that the duo even has the potential to surpass the chemistry of Ripley and Mysterio.

However, to look at the reality, Morgan legit looks more invested in Mysterio than Ripley ever was. The non-domineering tone of their romance might be long-lasting unless and until WWE pulled the rug to add a new spin to the story.
