The latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown witnessed an unexpected confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul, who agreed to a “champion vs. champion” match, which will be the main event of WWE King and Queen of the Ring, the PLE that the company will hold in Saudi Arabia on May 25.
However, the promo that both carried showcased a game of misdirection, whether it was intentional or not, leaving fans wondering if there would be any titles in play. Paul himself hinted at the possibility of becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion, while Rhodes envisioned himself conquering the United States Championship to become WWE Grand Slam Champion. And now a former legend of the sport may have revealed the stakes of the match, but he accidentally might’ve revealed the winner as well.
In the latest edition of the Busted Open Podcast, Denise Salcedo and Tommy Dreamer talked about the upcoming match between ‘The Maverick’ and ‘The American Nightmare’. It was during this conversation that the ECW legend showered praises on Logan Paul. However, he accidentally might’ve spilled beans on the winner of the match as well. As he said, “It is really, really cool of who they’re going to put the title on, and they never know. I mean, what if somebody like, that Logan Paul and was like, maybe he’s our new champion. I doubt that would happen, but I think it’s going to be a lot of heat. Good and a great match because Logan Paul gets it, man. He’s an entertaining heel. He’s an entertaining personality. He’s over the top and bottom line. The guy does it in the ring. I’m a big fan.”

For the time being, the company has not commented on the matter. On the other hand, Paul and Rhodes are scheduled to sign their match contract on the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Hopefully, the segment will offer answers and confirm whether, finally, there will be titles up for grabs.

But while veterans like Dreamer are praising the Maverick, another former superstar recently decided to share a bit of criticism toward Paul and the WWE. And Logan Paul, too, came out with his reaction.
Logan Paul opens up on Ronda Rousey’s accusations
Since her departure from WWE, Ronda Rousey has not let go of any opportunity to criticize the company. The former UFC fighter even had words for different personalities, including Logan Paul. She claimed that Logan Paul gets special treatment in the company, unlike other superstars. But as the world waited for the Maverick to give his response, it seemed like Paul was not offended.

During his appearance on his brother’s podcast, BS w/Jake Paul, Logan Paul assured that he does not consider Ronda Rousey’s criticism personal. Of course, the United States Champion suggested that Ronda’s frustration stems from her own experience in WWE. “I have a lot of respect for Ronda Rousey,” Paul stated. “Every time I’ve met her, it’s been very amicable. So, when she’s saying that, I don’t think it’s like a personal attack on me by any means. I don’t feel she’s coming after me. I feel she’s maybe using me as an example to express her dissatisfaction with maybe how she was treated in the WWE, but I can’t speak on that because I don’t know how she was treated.”
It doesn’t look like Ronda Rousey’s criticism of WWE and some personalities is going to stop. However, it is unlikely that they will cause much noise, as wrestlers like Logan Paul do not seem to give it as much relevance. That being said, who do you think will win the “champion vs. champion” match in Saudi? Let us know in the comments.
