It is safe to say that the WWE Women’s World Championship, Demi Bennett, a.k.a. Rhea Ripley, is in a class of her own. The 27-year-old Australian native is a fan favorite in the women’s division. With an intimidating gothic look, crazy tattoos, and a mean streak that keeps Mami on top, it’s hard for her to go unnoticed. Her physique is another striking aspect, but how much can she bench?

Adding to her already astounding list of accolades is the fact that she is the youngest grand slam champion in WWE history at 26. She has shown incredible feats of strength in the ring but what about her achievements in the gym?

When it comes to feats of strength in the gym, benching is the benchmark for strength. Many wrestlers pride themselves on their benching capabilities. The same applies to Ripley as she can bench the weight of some of the best-known stars in the WWE.

While there are no confirmed reports on the actual number that Ripley can bench, fans have analyzed her social media videos and photos. These include her gym workouts which resulted in fans estimating anywhere between 180lbs to 190lbs as her benching capabilities.

When Muscle & Fitness magazine covered her story, they estimated Ripley was bench pressing 185 pounds which was 25 pounds more than her own body weight. This is incredible as that is the weight of some of the WWE stars on the roster. These include Rey Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Akira Tozawa at 180 lbs, and Ludwig Kaiser at 186 lbs.

These feats of strength make her stand a class apart from the rest of the division. While there are others in the women’s division who are physically strong, Ripley’s in-ring strength is something fans have not seen since the Hall of Famer Chyna.

Ripley’s upcoming matches and Survivor Series

Ripley is set to defend her Women’s World Championship at Survivor Series against Zoey Stark. Stark won a women’s battle royal to earn the #1 contenders spot for the title. Strak has been the underdog for quite some time in the women’s division and could prove to be a good candidate to take the title off Ripley’s hands.

Recently at Crown Jewel 2023, Ripley defended her title in a fatal-five way match. Not only did she win with an impressive Riptide off the second turnbuckle, but she also proved to be the most dominant woman in the division.
