The premium live Survivor Series event is coming up soon. The match that is most likely going to be the event’s main attraction is the men’s war games match. Excitement has increased significantly even after Randy Orton’s confirmation as Cody Rhodes’ fifth team member. Moreover, with the entry of Randy Orton at WarGames, there could be another thing to anticipate. It is the presence of JD McDonagh, who was recently inducted in The Judgment Day.

And it seems that Damian Priest’s aggressive behavior toward McDonagh in the past could change the entire scenario. But how can that happen? Let’s find out.

It was apparent that JD McDonagh was trying his best to make room so that he could be included in the heel faction. He put all his efforts into helping The Judgment Day win matches. Although it bothered the nefarious faction initially, in the end, McDonagh got the approval of The Judgment Day and was included as the 5th member of the squad.

However, there was also the apparent fact that Priest was unhappy in McDonagh’s presence around the faction before his official induction and even mistreated him on certain ocassions. Furthermore, at Fastlane, the Irishman even caused Priest and Finn Balor to lose their tag team belts. McDonagh even posted a cryptic message on X; he wrote, “Everyone has their limits. You’re coming close to mine.”

Interestingly, McDonagh also shared an image of Priest in the same post. This states that the cryptic message might be targeted at the 41-year-old. Thus, the chances of McDonagh having personal grudges with Priest could be reflected in the storyline.

JD McDonagh could team up with Finn Balor to betray Priest

Many believed that Finn Balor was related to J.D. McDonagh. But it’s not true. Although both are Irish, they are not related to each other.

Well, there’s always the possibility that the storyline’s historical context will exacerbate any animosity between Priest and Balor. Priest did cost Balor the chance to become the World Champion on one or two occasions and JD McDonagh could capitalize on the friction and side with his mentor to teach a lesson to Priest.
