It is not easy trash talking John Cena, let alone beat him. Apart from his electrifying wrestling moves, ‘The Doctor of Thuganomics’ has a versatile mic game. However, one Hollywood star left Cena gobsmacked as he gave the wrestler a taste of his own medicine.

Back in 2017, Cena had appeared on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ alongside fellow Hollywood star Hugh Jackman, and that is where the action unfolded.

In one of the segments, the host asked Cena about Reverse Trash Talking. Wasting no time, the $80 million WWE legend replied that it was “a part of your training”. 

He suggested that Jackman followed him, telling him “it was the last stage” of his evolution as the character of the movie he was promoting.

Cena proceeded to demonstrate his ability, picking on a woman and complimenting her, albeit in a high pitch. He did the same with Cordon, drawing appreciation from Jackman and the crowd.

However, The Wolverine stunned the 16x WWE Champion as he gave Cena back some of his own.

“Is that it, John Cena? Is that it? With your blue eyes and your perfect hair and your beautiful three-piece suit, and your fashionable, expensive three-piece suit, you look amazing…John Cena, do you understand me? You are amazing,” the Australian actor aped Cena’s style to a T.

Facing the camera, an impressed Cena muttered, “He’s ready”, as people applauded the Aussie’s impromptu gig.

Cena replies back to Dwayne Johnson’s trash talk

The ‘People’s Champion’, Dwayne Johnson, is counted amongst one of the best trash talkers in pro wrestling history. Throughout his career, he has had some memorable beef with John Cena. The two, while being well known Hollywood stars, are also good friends.

However, that didn’t stop The Rock from trash talking Cena, prompting the latter to respond in a manner only he can.

Earlier in 2018, Cena was promoting his film Blockers on Jimmy Kimmel Live, when the host informed him about Johnson’s insult.

The Brahma Bull had promised to knock Cena’s teeth so far up his throat that he would have to stick a toothbrush up his derriere to brush them.

Responding to the threat, Cena analyzed that Johnson’s threat bordered on cleaning his butt. He advised the $800 million star to come well equipped.

Comparing it with a Mississippi cornfield during rain, Cena said, “It is just all mud and vegetation, pal. So the question I have for you, T He-Rock, is do you really wanna smell what John Cena is putting out?”

The wrestling and trash talk aside, both Cena and Johnson have tasted success in Hollywood. While Cena started out with The Marine in 2006, Dwayne Johnson had his break with The Mummy Returns. Both have since starred in several big budget Hollywood movies.

Johnson last played the titular character in DC’s Black Adam. Cena starred as Nate Sterling in The Independent.
