WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg continues to make headlines after he became a free agent following his contract end with Standford’s company. Earlier he claimed that WWE owes him a retirement match. However, WWE didn’t seem to pay heed to Goldberg’s requests, making room for the possibility of his AEW debut.

Fans have been making buzz about the former Heavyweight Champion joining Tony Khan’s promotion for a while now. Currently, it seems like Impact Wrestling is the latest addition to the list of future possibilities for the 56-year-old star.

Fans immediately started speculating. While some fans look convinced by the idea of Goldberg wrestling under Impact, others took a sarcastic dig at Goldberg’s current declining form.

A few also teased a potential tag team between Grace and Goldberg.

Goldberg’s days of dominance over the opponents have clearly gone. Referring to that, some even mocked the former Hall of Famer for considering impact wrestling as his last left option.

Some even dragged the AEW’s context, assuming that Tony Khan possibly snubbed him as the new face of his company.

Goldberg’s AEW debut possibility did not fade out completely as Tony Khan refused to rule out the potential in his last interview with The Bet. Khan has been asked whether he would allow the former WCW icon to be an all Elite. Khan replied, ‘I Have a lot of respect for Bill. I think Bill Goldberg is a great professional athlete and has had a great career in pro wrestling and is a very nice person. He’s a household name in pro wrestling, so it’s interesting to hear that he is a free agent, so that’s something to follow. He’s one of the biggest names in wrestling and certainly will be something else to keep an eye on for us.’

Now it’s exciting to see finally where the former Universal Championship will end up settling for the last few days of his prolonged in-ring career.
