WWE RAW kicked off with one of the worst news of the night. Rhea Ripley was asked to vacate the WWE Women’s World title as she suffered an injury last week on RAW. This came at the hands of Liv Morgan, who was on her revenge tour. However, do the two really hate each other, given the history between both women? Did Ripley blame Morgan for the injury she sustained last week?

On the last episode of WWE RAW, Morgan attacked Ripley backstage with a chair. This has been building up since her return from injury. However, that attack may have been a bit too much.

To say the women hate each other would be an understatement. Ripley was the one who shelved Morgan in July 2023. Morgan wouldn’t return to the WWE until the Royal Rumble 2024. This is the reason for Morgan’s revenge tour. However, last week’s injury was a freak accident. Fightful Select reported, “We’re told there’s no heat on her for the situation and was not blamed by Ripley or WWE.”

Despite hinting on social media that there is backstage heat for causing an injury to a fellow wrestler, Morgan might be in the clear. They also reported, “Early indications were that the situation was a freak accident, and happened when Ripley went into the walls during the backstage segment.” After the episode, reports emerged that Ripley was hurt and would need to vacate the title. However, tonight’s WWE RAW episode proved those reports to be true. So, now the question arises: who will be the women’s champion?

The race for a new champion is on!

The whole episode saw female superstars talk about getting the title. While Morgan continued that her revenge tour was not yet over despite sending Ripley to the bench, Nia Jax also had something to say. The Irresistible Force said no one could stop her from getting the title. She also mentioned Morgan and Becky Lynch.

According to her, she had already beaten the two, and now, no one was in her way. Needless to say, Jax will continue her pursuit of the title. Lynch is reportedly taking some time off after Mania. While Ripley recovers, the WWE will hold a contest to crown a new Women’s World Champion.
