When the bell rings in a pitch-black arena with no lights on, the entire space surely gets goosebumps knowing it’s time to see The Undertaker in action! He has been the most enigmatic wrestler in the company’s 30-year history during his legendary WWE career. Given that he will send those who make fun of him to their death, nobody would ever dare to do so over the course of his career.

Recently, when the NXT Halloween Havoc casket match took place, NXT standout Grayson Waller used The Deadman’s trademark taunt to mock him. After that, he faced intense anger from fans who felt he had insulted the legendary WWE wrestler.

Following weeks of escalating animosity, Apollo Crews and Grayson engaged in a Casket Match. The encounter had a Taker’s vibe from the start. Notably, it had a number of Taker’s things, including Crews’ effort to pay respect to Taker with Tombstone. Waller also made an effort while employing Taker’s well-known taunt.

It is well known that Taker disliked those who made use of his trademark gestures; in fact, Bubba Ray Dudley claimed that once he used Taker’s trademark eye roll, he became quite irate. Now that Waller has done this, it will be intriguing to watch how Taker will respond. However, one thing is certain; fans didn’t like it very much.

The Deadman should never be made fun of, according to a fan.

It’s interesting that one fan pointed out that although Dolph Ziggler made fun of the Deadman, Waller doesn’t have the right to mock him.

Fans have developed strong emotional ties to Taker’s character and everything about him since he has worked for the organization for 30 years. As a result, what Waller did, didn’t go down well with the audience. Now, it will certainly be interesting to see if and how will The Phenom reacts to it.
