Disney’s next big remake of their original animated movie is 2024 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It is a live-action remake of their 1937 first-ever animated movie. Speaking to Pierce Morgan about the new Disney movie Postl who played Hornswoggle in the WWE, said, “I don’t feel that’s right that that got taken away from us.” This was about the fact that not a single dwarf actor would be playing any of the seven dwarfs in the movie. Postl, a professional actor, appeared in movies like Muppets Most Wanted and Leprechaun: Origins.

From 2006 to 2016, he was Hornswoggle in the WWE with a storyline involving him to be Vince McMahon’s illegitimate son. The actor continued, “It’s not right because these are roles made for actors of my stature, roles that aren’t ever really given.” Currently, dwarf actors are protesting the movie as roles for dwarf actors are being rewritten to suit the woke audience. This has received criticism from many actors and critics in Hollywood. While the studio claims they made the change to break the stereotype and, in the name of being ‘progressive’, dwarf actors claim that it leads to a loss in roles.

The movie gained controversy after casting a Latina actress, Rachel Zegler, as Snow White. Following this set, images went viral on the internet that showed the ‘Seven Dwarfs’ who are now not dwarfs. The cast of dwarfs is now a diverse group of normal-sized actors. Postl concluded by saying the actions by Disney were unfair and disrespectful to the dwarf actors.

Wee man supports the accusations made by Postl

Wee Man appeared in the WWE a few times. The most memorable was at WrestleMania 38 to help his friend and co-star Johnny Knoxville against Sami Zayn shared the same thoughts. Speaking to TMZ, he said that it was wrong for Disney to cast normal people to play dwarfs. Being a dwarf actor, he finds it hard to find proper work in Hollywood. Like Postl, he does not agree with Disney changing existing material in the name of being woke.

The WWE has employed several dwarf actors, the most famous being Postl as Hornswoggle. A character initially written as a comedy bit but later turned into someone who affected the plot and ongoing storylines. Wrestling fans fondly remember Hornswoggle as a part of D-X within the wrestling community. He also won the Cruiserweight Championship in 2007 before it got retired.
