More than one entity has claimed that the WrestleMania 38 Night 1 main event belongs to them such as Kevin Owens with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ronda Rousey with Charlotte Flair, and others.

However, the main event can only be reserved for one match. It can’t be a combination of three different yet unrelated matches.

During Ronda Rousey’s conversation with Ellen DeGeneres, she revealed that her match against Charlotte Flair is going to be the main event for WrestleMania 38 Night 1.

“I’m going to be in the main event for the second time. I was part of the first main event with women, this is the third. It’s becoming almost something that doesn’t even need to be mentioned anymore, which is the goal.” H/t Fightful

Initially, the rumor was that Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kevin Owens would close WrestleMania 38 Night 1. If Rousey revealed she and Flair are occupying the main event, it’s a given that The Texas Rattlesnake won’t be a part of the main event.

As much as the fans want to witness The Texas Rattlesnake return to the ring, it might not be the safest for his neck. He has suffered numerous injuries on his neck, and it might not be the best decision for him to come back to WWE.

Now, Kevin Owens invited Stone Cold Steve Austin for an interview. However, with the way things are proceeding, the interview could actually turn into an in-ring assault.

If it does, The Texas Rattlesnake could potentially put himself in danger against Kevin Owens. While it’s kayfabe, one botch or one wrong move could be bad for the WWE Hall of Famer.

So far, it seems KO and Stone Cold will not keep it limited to an interview segment. It will move over to being a fight.
