Roman Reigns has proven to be indomitable with his ongoing WWE Undisputed Universal Championship reign. It’s safe to say that Roman Reigns’ tenacity is incomparable in modern-day wrestling. At Night of Champions, The Tribal Chief completed his 1000th day as the Universal Champion. And to celebrate his legendary milestone, Triple H presented a newly designed WWE Undisputed Universal Championship belt on SmackDown. While some fans acknowledged Roman Reigns, who looked like a million bucks holding the new title, others detested the new design.

It was reported months ago that Triple H was looking to scrap the Universal Championship. And so he did, fusing the top titles of SmackDown. Reigns has been the personification of greatness for the longest time. Whether you like it or not, the new title reveal substantiated why Roman Reigns is the torch-bearer of WWE.

WWE Universe reacts to the new design of the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship belt

After the big reveal, fans had mixed opinions of the new big gold. There are some who absolutely admired the new design. However, others do not harbor the same thought. Some fans who hated the design think Seth Rollins‘ World Heavyweight Championship looks better.

Interestingly, one fan defended Roman Reigns’ new title by pointing out that those who loathe it wouldn’t detest the design if Cody Rhodes was the current Champion.

At this point, the new facelift of the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship only means that Roman Reigns’ title reign is far from over. It remains to be seen who challenges Roman next for the coveted golden belt. Although Roman continues to be the face of the company, there are a handful of fans who dislike him. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T used Hulk Hogan as an example to shut up Roman Reigns’ critics.

Week after week, WWE’s angle featuring the Bloodline gets more and more compelling. After Roman Reigns was presented with the renovated WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, he was interrupted by the Usos. After Jimmy Uso double-crossed the Tribal Chief at the Night of Champions, the latter had a bone to pick with the Usos.

However, Jimmy Uso made his way out to seek forgiveness and rejoin the tribe. At first sight, it looked as if Roman Reigns had forgiven Jimmy, as the duo embraced. But, the fans then learned that Roman was feigning compassion. The next moment, Solo Sikoa delivered a Samoan Spike and took out Jimmy Uso.

By the looks of what transpired on SmackDown, it is safe to bet that The Usos have been rejected by the Tribal Chief. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how Roman Reigns further deals with The Usos.
