While reporting about WWE’s Royal Rumble 2023 plans, Fightful reported a piece of shocking news. Their report read, “In addition, we’re told that as of last week, Ronda Rousey actually wasn’t planned for the Royal Rumble PPV, at the time she lost the title, which can clearly change. Until December, Rousey was scheduled for the show in a singles match.”

With Rousey as the champion, people were convinced that someone who returned in the Rumble would challenge her at WrestleMania. But now, she isn’t in that position. She is one of the challenges, and after winning last year’s Rumble, Rousey’s chances for winning this year seem bleak.
