Seth Rollins has had a busy outing in WWE ever since he became the World Heavyweight Champion in May. The 37-year-old pro wrestler has already defended his belt more times than fellow champion Roman Reigns, earning him praise from the WWE Universe. With such a packed schedule, it’s likely to take a toll on the body and Rollins has opened up on his physical issues.
Speaking to Logan Paul and Mike Majlak as a guest on the Impaulsive podcast, The Monday Night Messiah said he might need surgery. That could also sideline the superstar for a few weeks.

According to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he is dealing with multiple injuries at the moment. Rollins said his knees have been “bugging” him even before WrestleMania 39.
There are also issues with his neck and lower back for the last four years, as per the superstar. “…my lower back has been at me since 2019. Probably should get some surgery on that,” he told the hosts. However, The Visionary said that he’s trying to steer clear of going under the knife because he already has “a couple of stress fractures back there”.
When Majlak asked him about stem cell therapy, Rollins said he had already tried it but didn’t benefit much from it. “I’ve done a couple of stem cells treatment and I found that they were temporarily helpful,” he said. The 37-year-old attributed this to his full-time work and the lack of rest while undergoing the therapy.
Meanwhile, Rollins’ revelation could make the fans of The Judgement Day stable very happy. Do you know why? Let’s find out.
What happens if Rollins’ back acts up?
Seth Rollins is set for a mega clash at WWE SummerSlam 2023. The PLE will take place on August 5. His opponent is none other than the de facto leader of The Judgement Day, Finn Balor.
But then how different is Balor compared to other opponents? Well, these two have a past, which interestingly, started in SummerSlam 2016. Balor and Rollins locked horns for the WWE Universal Championship. While Balor became the inaugural champion, it came at a cost as he suffered a horrific injury that saw him relinquish the gold after a few hours and sidelined for nearly a year.

A few weeks ago, the 41-year-old reminded Rollins about the incident and vowed retribution. In accordance with that plan, he took on the current champion at Money In The Bank in July. However, the Irish pro wrestler failed to overcome the challenge in front of him. He has another chance at the upcoming PLE.
If Rollins is going to need surgery and will be out for months, is there a chance he could drop the belt to his iconic rival? Balor’s admirers would be hoping for it. But fans will have to wait till the match gets over to find out the reality. For now, Rollins still is the champion.
