Disappointing Update as Ronda Rousey Has Voluntarily Walked Out of FOX’s Stars on Mars

Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominant female talents on the WWE roster. After carving out a legendary UFC career, Rousey became a huge attraction in WWE. However, she has not always been a fan-favorite. Regardless of what her detractors say, Rousey is very popular outside of the squared circle. She was part of FOX’s ‘Stars on Mars’, living with 11 other celebrities in a space station. However, The Rowdy One was recently voted out of the show. Now the true reason behind this has been revealed.

Apart from being ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’, Ronda Rousey is the wife of retired UFC star, Travis Browne. The couple also share a daughter out of wedlock, who is one and a half years old. That said, the real reason for Rousey’s leaving the show was linked to her daughter. 

The real reason why Ronda Rousey left Fox’s Stars on Mars

The Stars on Mars show premiered on June 5th on Fox. The show features renowned celebrities like William Shatner, Ariel Winter, Tom Schwartz, and many others. The former Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey, was also a part of the reality TV show, working tirelessly alongside the ersatz space commune. 

The celebrities cohabit in a simulated Martian community in the Australian Outback. In a shocking development, Rousey had to pull herself back from the show due to familial reasons. 

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rousey left the show of her own accord because she was missing her daughter. It should be noted that Rousey was not in danger of being voted out due to her hard work on the show. One of the high points of her stay on the show was when she wrestled NFL running back-turned-actor Marshawn Lynch. 

Nevertheless, the 36-year-old has left the show because she wants to spend more time with her daughter. Moreover, she is currently involved in a feud in WWE with her long-time training partner and real-life friend, Shayna Baszler.

Interestingly, WWE is reportedly planning a major stipulation for their upcoming match at SummerSlam.

Ronda Rousey will face Shayna Baszler in an MMA rules-type match SummerSlam

Shayna Baszler shocked the world after she turned on Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank, costing her team the Women’s Tag Team Championships. 

The duo has been coming to blows over the last few weeks. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning a feud-settling match between the old friends-turned-foes. The report stated, “Rousey vs. Baszler in promos will be “a fight.” We’re told the idea is not a street fight but more of an MMA rules type of match, which makes sense with both having extensive backgrounds.”

Amidst Rousey’s ongoing feud, she is rumored to be angling to make her return to UFC. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see the duo collide at SummerSlam.
