After turning heel at SummerSlam 2020, Roman Reigns has been at the front and center of The Bloodline Storyline. It took three years for him to be pinned by Jey Uso in what many consider one of WWE’s best storytelling angles. However, he has not been seen much recently on the WWE network.

Where is Reigns? This is what fans are asking about the reigning Universal Champion. With the teaser poster for the Royal Rumble 2024 out now, fans have even more questions about Reign’s disappearance.

WWE teased a promotional poster for 2024’s Royal Rumble, and fans quickly noticed a missing Tribal Chef on the poster. Yes, the biggest star of the WWE and reigning Universal Champion is not even on the poster for the next Royal Rumble. Many fans were quick to point out their disappointment, while some claimed it was clever marketing. Regardless, it seems like Reigns will be out for the next five months, as the Rumble will take place in January 2024.

Looking at most PPV events in the past, Reigns has graced almost every one of them. But his missing from the 2024 Royal Rumble poster has got fans scratching their heads. Being at the peak of the storyline with Jey leaving The Bloodline, fans want more from the story. This has also left some fans worried about Reign’s well-being.

Reigns has been absent a week after SummerSlam. Fans were hoping to see The Bloodline move forward in Toronto, but Reigns was not slotted to perform. Since then, the WWE has been silent on his whereabouts, though Paul Heyman has been seen in backstage segments as recently as the last episode of SmackDown.

Fans were quick to bring this question up even during the UFC-WWE merger, where Reigns was nowhere to be found even in the promotional content. Arguably, the current face of the WWE and longest-reigning Universal Champion cannot be a no-show at such historic moments. With the Royal Rumble leading to the road to WrestleMania, Reigns not being promoted is a big problematic question mark for the fans.

Reigns’s absence from other promotional material

One major reason fans worry about Reigns’s absence from the promotional material is that he has always attended Royal Rumble. Looking at the poster for the 2024 Royal Rumble, one can see all major WWE players, including The Judgment Day, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, IYO Sky, Bobby Lashley, Charlotte Flair, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Bianca Belair. However, there has been no mention of The Bloodline. With Reigns having a blockbuster match during this year’s Royal Rumble, fans were excited about the next one. They expressed their disappointment in the comment section.

Some seemed to be expecting Reigns to not show up.

Others claim he will feature in material for WrestleMania as he is the Champion.

Some found it funny that the WWE wasn’t promoting their biggest asset.

While others missed the Head of the Table.

Eagle-eyed fans pointed out Reigns missing in a lot of recent WWE material.

Some claimed since it was a teaser, they willingly left him out to boost marketing.

A major complaint is that Reigns doesn’t defend his title much.
