WWE and NXT superstar Dijak once again stood out as an incredible performer. The 35-year-old suffered a horror finger injury while facing Wes Lee for the NXT North American Championship in the opening match at Vengeance Day tonight. The two men put on plenty of action and excitement in the ring. Though it was Wes Lee who ends up retaining the title over Dijak, the big man stole the show with his doggedness.
Dijak’s horrible injury visual left fans heart-broken
While watching the broadcast, many have noticed a close-up of Dijak’s middle finger on the left hand showing an unusual shape. Leaving the entire wrestling world concerned, the former retribution member immediately took to his Twitter handle to post a picture depicting his injured finger clearly. Though it’s still unsure whether his finger has been broken or dislocated, fans were pretty quick to react to the gruesome visual of the injury.

Fans went all empathetic and concerned over their favorite star’s current health update following the injury. While some wondered how the hell it happened, considering the severity of the injury, some wholeheartedly wished that it won’t be too serious.

However, some of them also didn’t forget to give credit to the breathtaking performance Dijak gave on that day. Even after struggling with the injury in between, the wrestler continued wrestling and didn’t give up until the very last. That proved what a hell of a passionate and dedicated professional he is only if it’s still unknown to some.

If it comes to wrestling, ‘fake’ seems to be more like a synonym. Again, many people are there who don’t even consider the injuries to be true. But despite wrestling being a scripted sport, this includes plenty of brutal injuries because of the dangerous nature of this sport. Some fans think that Dijak’s injury is a perfect answer to those sticking to the aforementioned belief.

Most of the fans seemed really heartbreaking over the pain Dijak had to bear. Sympathy for the star was everything in their comments.

What’s next for Dijak?
Diving deep into the current NXT superstar’s journey, it’s safe to say that Dijak (Previously known as Dominik Dijakovic) has been on fire since his return to the ring in NXT in October, last year. The unstoppable star clinched six consecutive wins. However, the most remarkable one was his big victory over Tony D’Angelo, which allowed him the much-desired shot at Lee’s championship. Dijak proved himself worthy of the admiration of millions he earned over the years of his great going.

However, the match’s outcome apparently hints toward more Wes Lee-Dijak feuds in the future. While the revenge from Dijak’s side would be exciting to see, fans are now just hoping for the superstar’s speedy recovery so that he would not have to spend any more time out of the ring.
