Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is perhaps the most looked-up pro wrestler in WWE. Many pro wrestlers wish to follow his path and have as much success as he had in both WWE and Hollywood. This naturally brings up the question, has the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns ever tried to follow in The Rock’s footsteps?

Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson have an amazing dynamic. While fans are currently demanding a face-off between both superstars, Reigns actually admires Johnson a lot. But, while he has followed The Rock’s ways in the WWE, did he do the same in Hollywood and appear in the Fast and Furious franchise?

The Tribal Chief and Dwayne Johnson in an F&F movie?

Dwayne Johnson is a staple of the Fast and Furious movie franchise wherein he plays the role of Officer Luke Hobbs. Although Roman Reigns didn’t make an appearance in the primary storyline, he did play a part in a spinoff plot. In fact, he played a role in a project where The Rock and Jason Statham were the primary actors.

Roman Reigns played the character of Mateo Hobbs, who is a cousin of Luke Hobbs. While Reigns is the Tribal Chief of the WWE, he was in tribal garb in the Hobbs and Shaw film as well. The WWE Champion made a cameo appearance in the project and played his part really well. In fact, both Johnson and Reigns were also involved in an action scene together.

The movie was released in 2019 and was a hit with the F&F fans and the WWE Universe as well. Interestingly, Roman Reigns also briefly walked the Hollywood path like Dwayne Johnson.

He worked in a movie named ‘The Wrong Missy’ which was a 2020 rom-com. However, The Head of the Table has shifted his focus to his Bloodline faction and his real-life family now.

Roman Reigns is back where he belongs

Although Roman Reigns could have worked in more titles in Hollywood, the only titles he focuses on now are the three belts he has. Moreover, while he manages his pro wrestling obligations and the Bloodline, Reigns is also busy with his real-life family. Unsurprisingly, however, a lot of signals indicate that Reigns will soon fight Dwayne Johnson in the ring.

The demand for a Roman Reigns versus The Rock duel is skyrocketing. Moreover, many are speculating that the bout may take place in the upcoming Elimination Chamber event in Australia.
