For Night 2 of the WWE Draft 2024, WWE decided to get some celebs. Not only was Patrick Mahomes present for the Draft announcement but also IShowSpeed. Fans remember IShowSpeed for his appearance at WrestleMania XL. Not only did he help Logan Paul retain the WWE United States title, but he also ate an RKO from Randy Orton. However, his second appearance on WWE only saw him add to his misery so far. The popular streamer fumbled with his draft announcement.
While IShowSpeed stayed a good lad during his appearance, it was not easy to ignore him fumbling a simple sentence.

IShowSpeed starts to read out but stops to talk to Logan Paul
After Mahomes announced, it was IShowSpeed’s turn. While he started good, within the first few words, Speed stopped. He looked at Paul and spoke a few words before restating the announcement. His Draft Announcement was CM Punk. Speed called Punk “The voice of the voiceless.” Punk will continue on Monday Night RAW. While it is not clear what happened that made Speed stop, it was important enough for him to take a moment before continuing.

Punk’s Draft to RAW, which is already his brand, ensures his feud with McIntyre continues. The two have been building their feud since the Royal Rumble. With witty back-and-forths in the ring and on social media, the WWE clearly has big things planned. The WWE Universe is engrossed in this feud and would have seen a match if Punk hadn’t been injured.

WWE botches CM Punk’s accolades
After Speed announced Punk, a graphic detailing his journey and accolades was shown. However, the WWE made one big mistake. The included Grand Slam Champion. A GSC is someone who captures four specific championships within a promotion. Despite this being his second run in the company, the Second City Saint has only won three different titles in WWE. This could’ve been a botch, or maybe someone in creative foreshadows another win.
As of today, 30 wrestlers have been recognized as WWE Grand Slam winners, and Punk has not been included. Regardless of whether Punk gets a chance to achieve the Grand Slam title, he has a massive feud with McIntyre moving forward. The two have been feuding since Royal Rumble but have not locked horns in the ring. The Second City Saint is yet to be medically cleared to wrestle, and it may not happen ahead of WWE Backlash in France. What did you think of IShowSpeed’s botch? Or how about the WWE’s information on Punk? Tell us your thoughts down below.
