The Rock is undoubtedly a WWE legend. But his wrestling portfolio isn’t the only place that people know him from. Starting with his Hollywood debut in 2001, The Brahma Bull went on to become one of the highest-paid Hollywood stars. Perhaps part of the reason why Johnson is one of the most ‘Googled’ people is because of the movie popular projects that he signs.

Whatever it may be, the list shows him sitting at number 9 among the most searched names on Google, with a total of 2,305,000. Readers should also note that the list takes the last month’s searches as its basis.

The list also includes other popular names that you may be familiar with. Soccer ‘Goat’ Lionel Messi sits at the top of the list with 12,637,000. Twitter CEO Elon Musk‘s name is slightly more searched than ‘The Rock’ at number 8 with 2,532,000 searches. The Hollywood star left behind the Colombian singer, Shakira, who is at number 14 with 2,078,000 searches for her name.
