Roman Reigns suffered a big loss at WrestleMania XL when he lost his title to his archenemy Cody Rhodes. On top of that, his merchandise is not doing so well in the WWE Shop either. At this point, one might think that The Tribal Chief’s charm is fading away from the Stamford-based company. However, the WWE Draft will present an interesting opportunity to Reigns.
The draft will begin on SmackDown 26/04 and continue on Monday Night Raw. Roman Reigns and the rest of the Bloodline will show up with the rest of the talent pool on SmackDown. This may assist the former Universal Champion in creating a record.

This Friday, the blue brand will kick off the drafts like each year. On their respective days, the brands get to have first picks when it comes to the first two talents. Coincidentally, SmackDown chose The Tribal Chief as their first pick during the 2022 and 2023 drafts. History could repeat itself this year and hand the WWE legend a unique record.
If things bend in Roman Reigns’ favor, he will have three consecutive first-overall picks during the 2024 WWE Draft. This will happen only if he is picked as the first talent from the talent pool.
Cody Rhodes had a solid possibility to break Roman Reigns’ streak during the WWE Draft. However, according to the rules, The American Nightmare isn’t eligible to get drafted because of the new title that he carries around on his shoulder. He will stay with SmackDown regardless of the rest of the picks. This gives Roman Reigns a chance to make a record for himself.

In this case, Reigns would be left with The Usos by his side as both the twins have now either walked out or been kicked out of The Bloodline. We may see all three cousins teaming up revolting against the new Bloodline in the blue brand after getting signed with SmackDown during the 2024 drafting.
