Despite Walking Out of WWE Together, Naomi Sends a Four Word Warning to BFF Sasha Banks After Impact Debut

Naomi and Sasha Banks had been together in WWE for a long time. Several fans regarded the two wrestlers as BFFs and they even held the Women’s tag team titles. However, both of them had to part ways eventually in 2022 when they walked out of WWE together. As a result, Banks found her way to NJPW while Naomi recently landed in Impact Wrestling.

Now, after joining Impact, Naomi appeared in an interview. When asked about wrestling her old friend, Banks, Naomi, who now goes by the name of Trinity had an answer waiting. She expressed how ready she is to take on her long-term wrestling friend inside the ring.

Former WWE friends possibly facing each other

After joining Impact, Trinity Fatu is now performing under her first name, ‘Trinity’. Several miles away in Japan, her friend Banks is performing as ‘Mercedes Mone’ in NJPW. Fatu recently appeared in an interview and was asked whether she would like to wrestle with her old friend if given the chance.

“That is my dream,” said Trinity, sending a subtle four-word-long warning to her old friend. She further added, “I want to be a part of it and do everything that I can to continue to elevate this women’s division and put IMPACT even more so on the map so we all get the respect that we deserve.”

So, it is clear that she is not doing all of this just for herself, but for her new promotion as well. Since Mone and Trinity haven’t been seen in the ring together for a while now, fans would probably love to see them together. But this time, it would come with a twist.

Fatu was important for maintaining the balance as a female wrestler from the Anoa’i family. However, now that she has left, there is a void that needs to be filled.

The promotion is not short of candidates who can be a part of The Bloodline. The Head of the Anoa’i, Roman Reigns can himself see to the needs of the exclusive group and propose who is worthy. On the table, he currently has two cards, Ava Raine and Nia Jax.
