Just days ago, Paul Heyman watched helplessly as The Bloodline broke in two. The family drama unfolded during the last episode of SmackDown after Jey Uso joined his twin Jimmy and used a superkick to make his intentions clear. The attack on Roman Reigns officially ended The Bloodline’s current incarnation, the most dominant faction in recent WWE history.
It also set up a clash between the two sides, the twins against Reigns and Solo Sikoa at the upcoming Money In The Bank. Ahead of the match, Paul Heyman had some things to say about the latest development surrounding The Bloodline.

The Tribal Chief has enjoyed a peerless run for three years in the WWE. While Roman Reigns’ run wouldn’t have been possible without his Wise Man, the twins also played an important role. Whenever the 38-year-old looked in trouble, Jimmy and Jey Uso ran to help. The same cannot be said about Reigns, though.
On the contrary, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has publicly humiliated his cousins on several occasions. Tired of it all, Jimmy snapped first, costing his former chief the match at Night of Champions. Weeks later, Jey followed suit.
Speaking to Pat McAfee on his eponymous show, the 57-year-old manager praised the twins as “the greatest Tag Team Champions of all time”. But he was being sarcastic at the same time.
Heyman said he hopes the twins are able to take the beatings from their opponents at the aforementioned PLE. “I hope that they will display the same greatness that they did as the greatest Tag Team Champions of all time when they take their beatings from Roman Reigns and Solo at Money In the Bank,” he said.
“I’m very proud of them for being willing to take those beatings,” he added, in an apparent message for Jimmy and Jey Uso. However, Roman Reigns and Sikoa will be up against one of the most prolific tag teams in the history of the promotion. So, one will have to wait to see how that unfolds on June 2 at the O2 Arena in London.
Meanwhile, the scales tipped a bit in favor of The Big Dog after another Anoa’i family member dropped a cryptic text a few days ago.
Who’s Roman Reigns’ rumored backup?
The Anoa’i family is the proverbial well that never runs dry. This is particularly true in the case of pro wrestling. Over the decades, the family has produced several legendary wrestlers, including Dwayne The Rock Johnson. Apart from Paul Heyman, all the other Bloodline members are from the same lineage.
Now, another member is rumored to be Reigns’ backup. It is none other than Zilla Fatu, the son of late WWE legend, Umaga. Fatu recently tweeted “Count down ……”.

His cryptic post was made amidst the family drama in the WWE. Though it’s not concrete enough to be taken as a signal towards Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, the timing has many wondering if there’s more to it. Only time will reveal how things unfold from here.
