This week’s SmackDown ended with Jey Uso ‘leaving’ WWE after super kicking Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso. The Bloodline has been the backbone of the blue brand for the last three years. While The Tribal Chief, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa were having interesting storylines, Sami Zayn made it intriguing for several Fridays. However, after the recent segment from The Bloodline, the plans for next week are here for them.

As the WWE Universe awaits what might happen among the Bloodline members, there is unexpected news about them.

Since mid-2022, Roman Reigns stopped appearing on all the shows. The Head of the Table showed up for Premium Live Events and major RAW or SmackDown episodes. Similarly, his cousins might follow him doing the same next week.

For the last three years, The Bloodline has made its presence felt on every episode of SmackDown. Even if Reigns wasn’t present, Sikoa or The Usos and Sami Zayn for a short while represented the faction on the blue brand. The Bloodline has got huge ratings and viewership over the past few months for WWE, the most recent being the SmackDown from Madison Square Garden on July 7th, 2023.

Recently, following the latest SmackDown episode ended, PWInsider shared a report. It was regarding next week’s episode that will not feature any Bloodline segment. To be more clear, Reigns, Jimmy, Jey Uso, and Sikoa won’t be there at the Scotiabank Arena, in Toronto, Ontario.

This will make it a rare sight on the blue brand that neither of the members of The Bloodline will be present on the show. However, the report stated we might see an already filmed video package of the faction if it is planned.

The idea of The Bloodline not being next week on SmackDown can be a part of their storyline. Reigns will be reportedly out for a while, as Jey Uso announced his ‘departure’ from WWE. As of now, there is no news on Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso’s future booking.

Is Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40 a possibility?

At SummerSlam, Jimmy shocked the wrestling world when he attacked his twin brother who was close to defeating Roman Reigns. However, this set the tone for a possible feud between the brothers.

Jey was successful to make himself a singles competitor over the last three years. It seems WWE is probably planning to do the same with Jimmy, while his twin will be out of WWE.

We can assume Jey might return by the end of the year or at Royal Rumble to confront Jimmy. Ahead of SummerSlam The Usos told they wanted to have a singles match at the grandest stage and now WrestleMania 40 at Philadelphia is a perfect stage for the same.
